Welke complicaties zijn mogelijk?
Het kan zijn dat het herstel thuis niet naar wens verloopt:

Als de wond onrustig is, bijvoorbeeld erg zeer doet, warm aanvoelt, ‘klopt’ of opzet, neem dan contact op met uw orthopedisch chirurg.

Als u ergens op of in uw lichaam een infectie heeft, vooral aan uw behandelde been, wees dan alert op veranderingen in uw heup. Als uw heup of de wond anders voelt, pijnlijker wordt, er anders uit gaat zien of als u het niet vertrouwt, neem dan contact op met uw behandelend arts of uw huisarts.
